Re-Leveling

Fast re-leveling for roads, railways and buildings

70% FASTER - 30% GREENER - Ground Engineering Solutions

Re-levelling concrete

Fast Injection Method – No site or operational closure

Using a geopolymer solution is far quicker than any other method of reinstating and lifting a concrete slab. There is minimal disruption to roads or business operations; on commercial sites there is no requirement to remove anything from the site, all machinery, loaded racks stay in their place. We inject material beneath the slab to compress the existing sub-base, fill voids and lift the existing slab back into place.

In the vast majority of cases, the slab has not failed, the sub-base will have been compromised, this means the slab drops and needs to be releveled. Other options can be unnecessary and take weeks or months amounting to enormous disruption to operations. Our engineers will verify all geopolymer injection works to ensure the solution is accurate and permanent.

The purpose of
re-levelling?

Sinking road slabs, railways or floors in commercial buildings can be a major issue for a road operator or business. It may result in having to close lanes or on a commercial site fence off areas, while equipment such as automated forklifts may not work correctly. In the worst case, the sunken areas can become a real health and safety risk for users and employees.

Common issues in commercial sites are machine vibration and failure due to rocking or loose slabs – we resolve this. Misalignment of automated racking machinery due to uneven floors – we resolve this. Dangerous uneven slabs affecting forklifts and other vehicles – we resolve this.

Concrete road slabs sinking on a motorway is common. We provide a fast, lifting solution that mitigates water ingress and raises slabs to ensure a level journey for traffic – we work ahead of surfacing contractors in a collaborative way. Our teams work overnight to deliver repairs, ensuring minimal impact on road users, the method means slabs are trafficable in minutes.

Our slab re-levelling is suitable for transportation sites or commercial buildings

Which sites does Geobear re-level?

Our solutions can lift residential buildings and close cracks in the walls. They can be brought back to datum levels.

Where a road slab has sunk we can stabilise the strata and lift the concrete back to its original level.

We can lift the track back to its original position using fast injected geopolymer.

We can correct sinking slabs on runways by lifting and monitoring them using lasers.

When slabs drop in commercial sites it affects forklifts and racking. Our solutions lift back into place.

How the process works

The Geobear re-leveling process provides a fast, accurate and cost-effective solution for sinking concrete slabs allowing for the re-leveling to datum levels.

We use a special geopolymer resin that is designed to re-level your surface in a quick and non-disruptive manner. The resin is injected into the ground through small holes and expands below the ground to lift the sunken slab. It follows the path of least resistance until all space is filled and the soil is suitably compacted enough to bear the load of the structure above and begin raising it up.

Due to the fast setting time of the geopolymer material, re-levelling offers distinct advantages over other remediation methods. Geobear re-levelling is faster and less disruptive than piling or replacement. Piling or replacement requires invasive excavation using heavy machinery that’s loud and disruptive to the site occupants. In most cases that Geobear deals with, customers can continue their normal operations during remediation works and the area being treated can be recommissioned for use within minutes of the works being completed.

This makes it perfect for sites that see a lot of use and for businesses that need the site to continue functioning. We pride ourselves on our convenient service that aims to fix your problem with as little disruption to you as possible. Our team is trained to work with clients, to configure the most convenient schedule for them – for example, we’ll often work at night when the site doesn’t need to be in use.
